On route to Masada we see the caves of Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were “accidentally” discovered by a local shepherd boy in 1947. At Masada we take a cable car up the mountain to the ancient fortress of Herod the Great. We then travel to the lowest place on earth – the Dead Sea for the unique opportunity to float on the salty mineral waters of the Dead Sea. On this day we also visit the Original Baptismal Site on the River Jordan.||Jerusalem|

Then on to Mount Carmel, where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal followed by Megiddo where we overlook the breath taking Valley of Jezreel (where the Battle of Armageddon will take place). Following this we visit Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine ending the day at the Yardnit Baptismal Site on the Jordan River.||Tiberias|
